Screening

All of the candidates that we recruit are thoroughly screened and vetted to ensure that only the top childcare providers represent our agency. At minimum, each applicant must meet the following requirements:

  • Hold or be currently working toward a four-year college degree
  • Have several years of professional childcare experience
  • Provide three previous childcare references
  • Commit to a minimum of one year’s service

If all requirements have been met, our agency will initiate a preliminary phone interview to ensure that prospective candidates’ interests align with the vision of Chicago Collegiate Nannies. We then hold extensive in-person interviews to determine the strongest candidates. Once an applicant has been selected for representation, our agency conducts a full background check, driving record check and contacts the candidate’s references. The final step in our due diligence process requires that all nanny candidates attend our agency's Savvy Sitter training class.
